Severe Mid February flooding/severe WX potential

Ongoing flooding in BHam. ATL is next. That drive home tonight won’t be fun.

Drive in tomorrow morning might be worse for me. :/

Very disappointed so far. Rain has been light all day. Must be fizzling out the further east it goes.

Almost looks like 2 areas of rotation with this supercell, if these things merge it would likely enhance rotation
*edit this supercell is interesting for sure, can see the inflow rotating in on the SRV E73D8303-0884-4170-B0D2-9FBDD316636F.png64B33E9B-023D-4726-84F5-233E61F38E15.png

2.71” so far. Schools are closed today because of all the flooded roads.

I'm hoping these model projected wind gust do not verify today, most likely they will not but something to watch late this afternoon. I see NWS going with gust in the low 30's, which is getting close to an issue with the extremely saturated soil and weakened root systems from last weeks system.

Little concerning because the HRRR did fairly well last week with the wind gust

1.25” today and 8.35” for February so far. Allatoona is 18’ above winter pool and suppose to peak another 4-5’ higher.
