Yep that big event is long gone. Some spots showing only .50 totals through day 16.Friday's new high here is 56. Models seem to support a cool weekend. Unfortunately, the 18Z says put up the boats and pull out the hoses because it isn't going to rain much soon.
I hope it starts to runneth way south for a while now ... LOLI guess from Charlie's earlier post about rain for April in my area and the .8" received today........My cup runneth over

Lots of bitching from someone who received 7.30 inches of rain last month. Historically YOUR DRIEST MONTH OF THE YEAR . Yes you almost tripled your monthly precip total last month oh and by the way your heading into your three wettest months of the year in June , July and August ......

I noticed 42 on the truck thermometer this morning headed to work.
very possible indeed if the models are firing on all 8 cylindersMay very well might end up below average for the month

I never got close to that. I am a long way from Columbia SC where I think you are basing that on. Also 30 miles from GSP if that's the site you are looking at. This area got less than 30% of the 7.30 you think fell here.Lots of bitching from someone who received 7.30 inches of rain last month. Historically YOUR DRIEST MONTH OF THE YEAR . 5.42" for Jonesville, SC for April per Weather Underground ...
That, IMHO, is a good amount of water; I'd have been happy with that ...
Precisely ...Which is 2.27 inches ABOVE the monthly April average for that area

Fair is good, and that's still enough water not to be complaining about ... IMHOTo be fair I asked The GSP NWS and they said it's closer to the lower 4s which is still an inch above average
