RDU sensor up to 89.1, the record for earliest 90 could fall

I just looked up the earliest 90 at RDU and somehow it's Mar 12 1990. Was not expecting that.

Made it to 86 today here. 85 right now and even with the breeze I find this a bit too warm for my liking. I’m sure this is a record high once more

RDU hit 89.6F around 4 today. Do they round that up to 90F in climate records? If so thats the earliest 90 we have gotten

PGV hit 90 so this is the second earliest on record with Mar 9th being the earliest...last year the first 90 at PGV was June 7th lol.

This back and forth is beginning to remind me of 1989. That was a very wild February through early May, capped off with a tornado outbreak and a May freeze.
