Teddy’s northern side looks to have taken a hit this evening. Is shear to blame?

Around the end of the forecast period, Teddy will probably
interact with a deep mid-tropospheric cyclone in the vicinity of
Nova Scotia. This interaction will probably cause Teddy to bend
somewhat toward the left around day 5, but there is significant
uncertainty in the details of the track at that forecast time
range. It is also possible that the system will be losing
tropical characteristics by the end of the period, but this
remains to be seen.

I think Teddy is now a Category 3 headed for 2 status. Shear has been tearing her up for two hours from the SW, and now she's getting that blocky look on that side.
I can’t wait to see what Frankie McDonald has to say for Nova Scotia. That guy is so passionate!!
