Tropical Major Hurricane Teddy

Any chance teddys new eye causes the track to bleed west
 
Highway 12 is taking a beating from Teddy today on the live cam
 
Just imagine this storm on a hazel, opal or hugo track. The windfield this size would devastate entire areas. Of course getting windfield this size that far south is almost impossible.

NOAA Hurricane Hunter mission indicate that hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 150 miles (240 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 550 miles

As amped as the pattern has been the last few years I think it more likely for the NC area north.
