Looks likely now the month ends without hitting 80. In itself not exactly remarkable, as there's roughly a 50/50 chance March will have a high over 80. But after the record setting 3 consecutive days of 80 or better in Feb, it's a little bit incredible. The month only had a trace of snow however, and will likely end only slightly BN temp-wise for the month. Another month of missing snow fall in every direction. Damp, cloudy, cool month really. Although in reality it was BN in precip. Just had a lot of days with cloudy, drizzly weather. Looking to continue into early April as well. Wouldn't discount another good snow for the mountains of Southern Appalachia either.
 
noisy storm moving in here after a cool rain most of the day. Temps were almost 20 degrees cooler than yesterday's 80s
 
Just another reason for the fascination with weather, winter in particular, even way down at the Far Southern Command Outpost ...
