Yep, ripping in downtown now. I'm up on the 13th floor looking west, and visibility is really low back toward NC State.

That band coming through Raleigh just passed my house. Awesome flakes and blowing snow with the wind. Got a couple of slow mo Vids. Good event. No accums on roads, my thermometer says they’re still at 41f

It has really picked up in earnest the last few mins or so the flakes are desperately trying to stick to the pavement
So the sun just broke through the clouds briefly and it was still snowing, first day of spring sunshine and snow got to say is pretty freaking awesome.

If we get more snow this weekend, the 1960 analog comparison seems to have merit. I think it has merit regardless. Pretty awesome March for the Eastern US.
