Looks like there could be widespread 95-100 temps across much of the south. Could Atlanta possibly hit 100 ?
Just for a few days. I would consider this a heatwave.Looks like there could be widespread 95-100 temps across much of the south. Could Atlanta possibly hit 100 ?
Any time there are heat advisories in the middle of summer that is significant. There is nothing significant about the upcoming heat , delete thread now . It may not even qualify as a heatwave which requires multiple days above 95. Stick to Carmel Indiana weather !
Significant ? Lmao , you sure you live in Georgia because anyone who lives in Georgia wouldn’t be all too flustered by the coming heat .Any time there are heat advisories in the middle of summer that is significant.
1-3 days of 99-100 isn't significant to you?Yea this isn’t much. Maybe one day of mid 90s with 1-3 areas of barely 99 to 100. Foothills only low 90s prob but wishing for mid 90s.
Yea summer is hot.Any time there are heat advisories in the middle of summer that is significant.
No. If we had 5-10 days of 100+ then I would call it a heatwave.1-3 days of 99-100 isn't significant to you?
Its already warmer in parts of the NE then SE. #Deathheatwave2021You gotta be kidding me................ let's see how long before this thread goes horribly bad. Should be fun
120 this august in Atlanta !Its already warmer in parts of the NE then SE. #Deathheatwave2021
Then I demand a thread for arctic outbreak this winter for temps in the lower 20's LolI mean places from CAE to Augusta to Macon and maybe even BHM this will last into Saturday maybe Sunday so for those locations especially the AUG to MGM corridor this could be Thursday-Sunday of upper 90s
For highs? Then I demand a thread for arctic outbreak this winter for temps in the lower 20's Lol
If it’s highs then I suppose it is thread worthyFor highs?![]()
Well we do get like 3-4 days so I agree. Then I demand a thread for arctic outbreak this winter for temps in the lower 20's Lol
All I'm trying to say is people are pointing to their yard and saying it's only 2 hot days but as you go further south there's more duration. It's not a record breaker or anything that far out of the ordinary but given the lack of overall heat this year why not. I bet @deltadog03 thinks this sucksThen I demand a thread for arctic outbreak this winter for temps in the lower 20's Lol
Lows, since most of y'all don't recall your last low in the teens, lower 20's seems thread worthy, especially if upper 90's in the south is worthy. HahaFor highs?![]()
I think this heat wave is equivalent to temps in the upper single digits IMO.Then I demand a thread for arctic outbreak this winter for temps in the lower 20's Lol
