i honestly think it’s pretty accurate. many other stations across the state are above 100 and raleigh is east of the fall line meaning it is historically hotter than cities to the west in the clay soil.Working from home today, so I’m enjoying a little time in the hammock this afternoon. RDU is 101 at 2pm while GSO is 94 and Burlington is 97. A bit questionable?
Just to note, Raleigh's west of the fall line and has quite a bit of red clay.i honestly think it’s pretty accurate. many other stations across the state are above 100 and raleigh is east of the fall line meaning it is historically hotter than cities to the west in the clay soil.
