The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northeastern Moore County in central North Carolina...
Harnett County in central North Carolina...
Lee County in central North Carolina...

* Until 315 PM EDT

* At 211 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sanford to 9 miles east of Carthage, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Lillington, Angier, Erwin, Whispering Pines, Coats,
Broadway, Vass, Cameron and Lemon Springs.
