We're right on the beach, SW wind and the dunes are blocking that.....the sand will blister your heels, the HI is 102, it's about as hot as it ever gets on the OBX. But the water is nice!

I guess the July surprise was blistering heat and high humidity, not much of a surprise.
Same, although I also wouldn't be upset if we got lucky again today. Lol.
Definitely way more coverage yesterday vs today so far, although things were delayed today by MLcin

That may also work in our favor fewer clouds means more our atmosphere is getting even more primed.

Exactly... I’m 180 miles inland with a dewpoint in the upper 70s and bright sunshine.... as wicked as this is I can’t imagine how bad it is there

Speak for yourself. 0.22" Friday, and skunked yesterday.
Man not sure exact MP but Nags Head, about a mile or so north of the causeway and it's just a day trip sadly.

Damn that sucks. Looking at the radar returns yesterday and Friday I would of guessed you got a lot more than that.
