July Surprise!

Surrounded by blue skies and loud boomers. No rain yet though, I don't think the OFB did much of anything, so hopefully, it's still game on for me!
 
Besides our little microclimates, I wonder how much soil moisture plays into the same area's getting hit every day. I know there is more to it than that, but it may play a factor.
 
I may actually miss out today. Severe storm just to the east of me, and the storms approaching from the NW look to be weakening some. Guess I can't score two days in a row.
 
Missed the worst of it on the drive home as it had moved sw. Man looked intense , most intense of year , one of my buds had his power go out . Sad to miss it.
 
I think a storm is forming over my house.
