Boom or bust....I'm 6 miles NW of the airport and had 0.3" in the gauge. Heard boomers yesterday evening for 4 straight hours from the storms in Wake County.

Lightning hit a friend's house last night. Some fire damage but mostly ok. Fire dept put it out, but they have water damage now too. Crazy.

1.41” yesterday and overnight total. Looks like the bucket kept tipping until nearly 4am. Impressive.

Based on radar estimates , my house picked up 2.50 inches yesterday, just to the north in the famous hotspot of eastern wake! 4-5 inches! In 1 day. Yeah they are definitely in the double digits for rainfall this month!
