I can tell you right now…. If that -NAO begins to build and hold like it did last year, we are gonna be in store for one wet and cool fall.

Hey for anyone in the FFC forecast area, I used to frequently use the radar estimated storm total radar (not sure if thats the exact name) and you could loop it and it was very good at showing localized rainfall totals. But with the changes they made maybe a year ago, i can't find that anymore. Does anyone know where that is now? I found an observed rainfall link but the resolution is horrible.
Something concrete with plenty to tap into … eye candy soon on 3km ?
They probably had to change because Adobe quit supporting and disabled Flash. All of those pages used it.They could still have came up with something better though.I'm so disappointed as well as shocked that the NWS local radar products are pretty much nonexistent now after being available for what, close to 20 years?? I don't get it at all. Yes, we can't get the great radar estimated precip., we can't get a nice closeup high resolution radar animation, we can't get a high resolution closeup of the current radar. I don't get it. Can anyone explain why after 20 years we no longer can see these from the NWS? Why did this even happen?

The new radar takes forever to load and I do not use it at all.
That is the best free site I have found, but it does not have a good estimated precip page. The radar itself is ok though.COD Meteorology -- NexLab Homepage

That's crazy that there isn't anything to replace it. I used to be able to know when precip was going to start, stop, get heavier, get lighter in either at my location or another anywhere in the US by using the latest still image as well as animation. I also used to be able to track systems anywhere in or adjacent to the US by aminating closeup. I used to be able to estimate precip that falls during a certain interval in my or another area. It is such a disappointment that none of this can be done anymore. It is hard to fathom that in the 2020s we can't do what we could do in the 2000s! We're going backwards.
I see that that closeup from your link is just for the local area in IL/IN.
I’ll have what this guy here is having please .Did u just make a phone call during a quiz? Yeah, but I finished my quiz already

I highly recommend it has a ton of features even I don’t use but I think what ur missing is included … it’s an extremely accurate and beautiful radar that was well worth the costThank you for the suggestion! Does this do everything that the NWS sites used to do with local radars, animation, and estimated rainfall for anywhere in the country? Do you know about how much this costs? Can I use it both on my iphone and my laptop?
This is all that we have as the basic pay which is just the base pay to get the app (all you could need and more) on top of this I could spend hours changing the little details of radars and just playing around with different options in RadarScope .. quite niceThank you and @NickyBGuarantee for this valuable info!
1. So, is tier 1 all one needs to get back to what we had for free from the NWS before like high resolution regional, still/animation, estimated rainfall, etc.?
2. Can I use this subscription on my HP laptop in addition to my iPhone?
