What I question is why so many storm are moving southeast this year? Generally its northeast? Not complaining with what rain we do get but it seems weird to me.

The southern flow has been beat down by the H that has been parked over the central US. The SER ( southern flow from the gulf) hasn’t been able to take hold yet but usually wins out come August aka more hurricanes. Here in Ga if the H is over TX our storm track is almost due North to south which sucks for me but great for the NGA counties that can get the upslope benefits.
