Pattern Juggernaut June

Some boomers would be nice to breakup the monotony of the heat this week.

Make that a high of 91*F today.

Some t'storms are trying to bubble up just a few miles to the south.

Well, the t'storm gave us a good soaking. Now the sun's back out.

Did make it to 90*F before it rained.

Northern foothills and mountains have been hammered all day hail and rain. Flooding now.

Happy to report that after scouring every model worth a hoot, and severeal that belong in the septic tank, there is nothing worth devoting band width to today ... very happy to report ...

WRAL is saying there's a chance of severe storms around here tonight and tomorrow.

3-5”+ possible. Some areas will top 30” for June alone at this rate.

Per NWS, rainfall rates up to 3” per hour and radar coverage overnight may never go away completely as more storms fire up.
