We gonna stay Cold through next week, with the exception of warming up enough to rain Sunday. Then next Fri/into Sat Models unamiously show a Lakes Cutter/ we rain obviouly. Thats what drags down/ iniates the Artic outbreak SE as next weekend ends and we head into the following week. Thats our window 1/15-1/30. Make no mistake, it still boils down to timing/luck. Cold air will be here or avaialble to tap but that doesnt mean we will score anything.

If the GFS and its ensembles are close to being correct in recent runs, the January 20th-25th looks to be the greatest opportunity for the entire SE to score, event the Deep South. That’s way out there, but should provide us with lots of fun ( and aggravation) tracking over the next couple of weeks. Good luck, and enjoy the ride!

The 00z EPS is still cold and stormy again around day 10 through the end of its run. However, it’s not quite as good as the 12z run from yesterday. The general idea still stays the same. imo
