I'll be surprised if at least one decent CAD doesn't show up by Jan 25 w/ that look at 500mb.
Is it me or have I seen some models want to hint at the ridge around the western SE/central/southern plains get shoved west/retrograde due to the Atlantic troughing ?

Lol - it’s 48 degrees! Man, we suck at surface temps this year in ATL.
There was even reports of it falling in Macon.

Pretty amazing that there are no temps warmer than 56 forecast for Atlanta the next 14 days. You don't get that every January.

Good post and good point. IF.. that verified, it would take us nearly through January without 56 in ATL. I would venture to say it has been quite a few Januaries since that happened.
Hey now, we aren't all ITP here! Max here was 45.3 earlier this afternoon ?
Add to the fact that my average high so far for the month as of yesterday was 49.4F Now on the flip side, the average low is only 36F, but I'm not complaining.
