Well my fellow upstaters. It just started 15 minutes ago. Mix of ZR/Sleet/and yes Snow. 30/8
Interesting! I haven't seen anything but rain, but I am also looking out from windows high up in the air lmao. Let me go outside and investigate.
Update: Definitely all liquid in midtown right now, but very light.

Also you can see precip starting to blossom in Georgia ahead of the big precip

Just migrated from flake every so often to light snow here.
Tiniest hiss of sleet. Probably 90% flakes, 10% IP.

hrrr has 975mb dropping to freezing by 03z for a good chunk of north ga so freezing temps won't be far behind.

Thanks for posting. Was curious what was coming down in the triad. I just wish it would fill in more in the triangle. It keeps drying out.

Oddly enough. It’s actually almost all snow that’s falling. Also, I’m not even under any precip according to the radar and I’m getting a solid light rate. Should give you a heads up on what even a little WAA can do

38/22 (wb 28) no rain here yet in Cumming

Lasted 5-10 mins. Where we just started . sleet now. Hope it stays sleet as long as it can.
Reports of sleet all the way up toward lynchburg, right off the bat. Tells me warm nose is off to a grand start and we run high risk of flipping frzn rn earlier

Light rain in far ne ga - the temp is down to 33 lol. I didn’t see any sleet

Same ! Got the wood burning fireplace going. Nice and cozy.
sleeting is sticking instantly, might be a bit of freezing rain already mixing in too, hard to tell. 24/7 going to be rough 24 hours

I spotted a few flakes falling!

If you are familiar with RIME ice that happens on mtn tops a lot from clouds blowing over, mist droplets on tree limbs. Thats similar to what will be happening tomorrow while waiting on squall line. Give you an idea how much drizzle catches . 100%, no chance for run off

Yea. Im nervous we gonna get 90% plus of qpf frzng rn. I wasnt sweating earlier today. Thought we could atleast 50/50 with sleet
