The initial push of cold air from the northwest is penetrating further and quicker than models projected. The question is when our winds shift, how much do we warm up tonight. Our cold air is technically just now passing by Greensboro, NC and headed southwest, on schedule to be here tomorrow afternoon/evening.I’m at 34, original low was supposed to be 38

This was the 00z 3km NAM's temps for midnight tonight. Just a tad off I'd say.

15 degrees with accumulating snow
Does it look like the drier powdery type of snow? I wonder if the ratios there are really good right now.
