Huge storm complex in WNW AL moving slowly SE. Friend in Fayette AL said high winds and hail with some trees down. More storms beginning to form.

Thank God it's you and not me! All this rain has caused some strange things to happen. Look what we found growing in our front shrub bed. I'm surprised the HOA didn't write us up!

Hahah funny you mentioned that , I just checked both. Desperately need a good radar image over SD's house and of course the heat house belonging to JHS . I'll be watching all day

We ended June with 7.5 inches of rain. Up to 2.94 for July so far. Thought we were gonna be dry for a day or so but was woke up by thunder last night. Getting a opportunity to mow is hard to do around here.

Yep Tarheel is about to get it and I think these hold up and nail my area too. A near solid line now from Near Anderson to Hickory moving east.

Time to get a good tropical system into the FLA panhandle and up the spine of the mountains. THAT might give me some rain.

It's going to take something like that to get good rain here again. Once we start missing storms it takes a big event to break us out. Some of you will get 10+ inches of rain now before I get .25.

Is here still there? Look at that beautiful supercell with nice hook/inflow notch. Wait is that a debris ball?

Summertime equals radar hallucinations via mushrooms in the woods following almost 19 inches of rain this past month.
