Josh is in Marsh Harbor. Say a prayer, we won't hear from him for a while. That part of the island will be under water for sure.
The eye looks to be getting more concentric! Amazing , powerful , stormCorrect me if I’m wrong but it seems like big uptick in lightning around the eye, if so, uh oh.
I saw that. That's a 200 mph instantaneous speed at the surface which aligns with the gust, and that 195 not far above? 225 mph. IF this has only started to RI, I think we are about to shatter records. We may even see the first ever 200 mph sustained wind advisory if nothing stops it.
Ridge out west is much stronger this run however.Much weaker ridges on the Nam so far. probably won't go as west.
It's now to 155 knots which is 180 mph.AL, 05, 2019090112, 03, OFCL, 3, 265N, 768W, 155, 919, HU,
Freeport is right in the crosshairs..ouchCorrect me if I’m wrong but it seems like big uptick in lightning around the eye, if so, uh oh.
I was getting ready to research strongest in the ATL and it is indeed Allen 1980. It's gonna be close with Dorian. Not sure what disruption will happen with the island chain and Dorian occursSo is Allen in 1980 at 190 the strongest ever in the Atlantic? Think Dorian can reach it?
