And no sign of slowing down yet. Still moving pretty fast. 1 mph makes all the difference. I'm starting to smell a bust, but I can't tell what model it's coming from. 24 hours will reveal the answer.

Both planes are now headed for the NW quadrant. The NOAA plane just passed though there and is going back. I wonder if they were asked to head back and verify what they had, or are going to see again to make a call.

If they do declare this a cat 5 it will be the 1st time in modern history where we've gone 4 consecutive years with a cat 5 storm in the Atlantic or Caribbean's basin.

If Dorian stays at his current speed, the eye could possibly pass overhead Marsh Harbor by sunrise Sunday. The eastern islands of the Bahamas are already getting the effects of the western outer rainbands.
