Misc General Banter Thread

I'm sorry but like if he doesn't go to the coast he should just go home haha

Like it shouldn't even be a question like he's pretending on Facebook it is

I dont doubt it'll be good in Charlotte or wherever(it's always good in the mountains) but the coast in a blizzard is a no brainer
He’s in Greenville, SC
Looks like it’s ripping …IMG_4529.png

It hit a wall right there and is now retreating. One mile south of my location. I’m officially the cause of this snow curse, sorry folks
It will fill in soon. You can see it on the national radars. Zoomed out some. The three blobs across NC are meeting up and filling in, like some of the local in-house MET models were showing. Enjoy everyone!

So basically what WRAL does is look at the Euro and make a call 3 days out then change it based on what the HRRR days 1 day out and then keep changing things so they can always say they were right

We were all too nervous to admit it but once Webb pulled the analogs from previous similar setups we all knew the Triangle was in the trace-1” screw zone.

I am going to save y'all a lot of time and heartache. Don't look at the global models and the NAM anymore. If you see there is a chance of snow in your 5 to 7 day forecast, wait until your 24 hours out. If the snow is still in your forecast, then look at the HRRR and 3K NAM. Which ever one looks worse for Wake County, NC, that's the one you use to determine what you should expect for where you are.

Does that mean that you aren’t going to post the model runs until 24 hours out?

Honestly I think we just have to wait our turn and see what the coastal ends up doing (later today & tonight).
