I'm deleting more and more post these days. This show up to say torch or kicking the can or one liners with no substance, basically trolling, is getting so old. It's ridiculous. @packfan98 and @Rain Cold both laid it out eloquently in post the other day. We post rules, guidelines, reminders every single year and nothing changes.

It's funny how kind the mods are here. In another time, those posts would disappear and so would your account lol

I think what they did to me is fair. I’m not allowed to post in the January Thread anymore which is fair. Now getting rid of my entire account over posting a warm model run seems a bit crazy. Especially considering there’s been no disrespect or anything from me. I have learned my lesson

Yeah, we've tried to balance this and it's a challenge. We want clean threads but also don't want to over moderate, allowing some banter with discussion. We've discussed this behind the scenes more than anything else over the years. Probably why the site does so well and has good traffic all year round.

It's a definite tight rope. You want to leave room for banter but also there's a need for top notch information. You guys do a good job with it.

The 1/8 - 1/10 time frame is looking pretty good for a threat. It's been showing up on the models on and off for a while now. That happened before for the 1/4 - 1/6 period and then it went poof. Hope this one is legit. Still far out, though.

What are you referring to? The 12z GEFS was much improved with the NAO and Pacific. It had the best snow mean I’ve seen for the day 10 threat.
