That's a nice flathead! You coukd make some catfish nuggets out of that fish. I need to get back to fishing the Neuse and Cape Fear like I used to. I can't believe you caught him on a crappie jig.

I caught one twice that size back a few years ago crappie fishing on 4 lb test braid… fought it for over 20 minutes
Stone bridge is the best I’ve played. If you really want to spend then do Barnesly. Field’s Ferry in Calhoun is affordable and well maintained too.

I really hate June. But at least we are 8 days from the solstice and after that the days get shorter and sun slowly gets less intense.
It's been about 40 years since the original, but Mel Brooks just announced Spaceballs 2 is in the works, scheduled for release in 2027.
