He didn't say, talked about the track like normal but said if the low got involved it could be a good thump, also said these storms tend to trend back NW a little over time. I don't know how to post the video on his FB but he talked about it there.
Said 1-2 front end and if the low gets involved “could be significant” and said “this could be a monster low blizzard conditions on the coast”

It looks like it unfortunately. Only Central/SW Georgia has scored for the Southeast; the rest has been icy hell or just borderline decent for a select few.
93' IN ALABAMA WAS 3-4 IN/HR FOR ROUGHLY 12 HRS BMX HAD 13 INCHES. MY HOUSE IN SOUTHWEST SHELBY CO. AL HAD 14 INCHES WITH A PEAK SNOWDRIFT MEASURE OF 5 FOOT
I really like our chances to have some snow showers this weekend. Very cold front coming through that should squeeze a lot out of the atmosphere. Very similar to 2/16/21 where a lot of north and central Alabama had anywhere from .5 inch to 2 inches. Nothing picked it up either.

Someone just posted the NWS forecast discussion in the storm thread. What’s the purpose? I believe everyone on this forum knows how to look it up, for their local NWS office. Yes we can make reference to it but to post the whole discussion? It just clutters up the forum.

I see your point, but it is a forum at the end of the day. People can look up model data and see it themselves too. If someone sees something they're excited about sharing, I don't see the problem.

After working outside since 7am today I think I'm just about ready for spring. That said I'm still in the "hold your horses" camp on this one. The setup is there but I really want to see where the first front winds up stalling offshore.

I doubt the coastal low will get too far to the west. IMO there's more chance it's too far east for everyone aside from Hatteras. You still have the ULL out that way.

Gotta say, I f with this way more than the GFS. The GFS is another bump from keeping me locked out, hopefully there isn’t agreement of this with other models.
Unless you’re on the coast, I think I’d be more worried about genesis of this monster ending up ticking north enough to shut you out. Cold doesn’t seem as if it’s going to be a worry.
