Brad P honking the horn a little. Thinks we might get 1-2 or so on the front end.
What's he thinking about the back end?Brad P honking the horn a little. Thinks we might get 1-2 or so on the front end.
He didn't say, talked about the track like normal but said if the low got involved it could be a good thump, also said these storms tend to trend back NW a little over time. I don't know how to post the video on his FB but he talked about it there. What's he thinking about the back end?
Said 1-2 front end and if the low gets involved “could be significant” and said “this could be a monster low blizzard conditions on the coast”What's he thinking about the back end?
Yeah, someone in the storm thread said it was 4"/hour for about 4 hours at RDU. Impressive. Didn't think that was possible in Raleigh.Whatever the max during jan 00 was, pure whiteout, visibility a few hundred feet.

A couple posts in the storm thread got me wanting to ask this question for people in the banter... what's the best rate y'all ever saw in a snowstorm?
For me, personally, it was the Blizzard of January 2018 in New Hampshire. 4"/hour. Video capture below sums it up. Two other nor'easters of that winter also came pretty close.

I see your point, but it is a forum at the end of the day. People can look up model data and see it themselves too. If someone sees something they're excited about sharing, I don't see the problem.Someone just posted the NWS forecast discussion in the storm thread. What’s the purpose? I believe everyone on this forum knows how to look it up, for their local NWS office. Yes we can make reference to it but to post the whole discussion? It just clutters up the forum.

You’re leaking down into my county. Relax up there3 runs in a row with the max virtually over the same spot. That's a incredible feat, even for the GFS.
And of course, Rain Cold is in the shaft zone. But that's just how it goes.
