We have risen to 31 as of 5 am. Lights are on for now. I will have to wait until daylight to measure the accrual.
The porch is iced over this morning. Right at freezing (31.6). Still getting freezing rain but it looks like an elevated event.
32.9 creeping up.

I just went out there. Not sure how we have power. The ice sounds like crunchy cellophane when the trees move in the breeze.

I measured a solid .25" on the top of branches and 3/16 on the bottom. I'll let someone do the math but it's just under .25."

Power just went off and came on again but is flickering now
Looks like I hovered between 32.2 and 32.5 for a while before the slow inching upward started

Nothing but rain here and for first time this winter I am perfectly happy with that.
Deck still has some ice on it, but this another tree topper event for me. Tops of the pines look like glass this morning.

I’m just sitting here I’m watching a 50’ maple tree in my back yard sway back and forth like a drunken sailor. Oh, and we have lost power.

Just inched up to 32.5, glaze on deck, vehicles, tops of trees.... probably .03 if I had to guess. Not feeling up to going out and measuring lol

Noticed temps warmed a little bit late in the overnight and morning hours, may have briefly been a very light glaze down to pittsboro before melting this am
Seen alot worse than this not to get a WSW
