Trying "the shiny diner" on Buck jones rd next to the Asian market. Will debrief when we finish.

@Lickwx we ate at that little diner I mentioned and it was damn good. Smaller place and we had to wait for a table. I got a standard breakfast with French toast, eggs and sausage. One stepson had a patty melt the other son got the turkey, dressing, mac+cheese and potatoes and the wife got a club with homemade chips. The menu is HUGE. It was 4 pages just for breakfast!!!!!

I’m dying to go eat at some new places , maybe if the weather stays good next weekend I’ll go down east again and try it .

Glad to see nobody voted Burger King. They have the worst customer service and they also are the only fast food restaurant that has told me they are out of Coke. That's actually happened twice. You should run out of water before you run out of coke! It's a shame because whoppers are great.

I love 5 guys. Burger with mushrooms and grilled peppers but they are pretty expensive. We have a place here called bad daddy's burger bar and its really good too. Love me a burger with crispy onions and bbq sauce

Check out prime smokehouse in knightdale . Original location in Rocky mount! Guy who made it is a Texan and award winning pit master . He mixed the styles together ! The brisket there is to die for man! Sweet potato salad with bacon bits if your into that as well!
Another place is where @Avalanche lives in saxapahaw! You go there , hike to the top of cane creek mountain and get a gorgeous view of the country side ( summer leaves obscure it ) then go to town and hike around the island on the haw river . Then go to the little village itself where there’s cool arts and crafts stores , and the cool general store where they got all these cool Beers.I got the fried catfish sandwich with fries fried in duck fat . My god they were the best fries ever ! Also tried some local ice cream from Julian nc that was sold there ! You need to check it out. I got pictures too but I’m lazy to post em.

I ate at Willie Jewell's BBQ today for lunch. I thought it was pretty good.
I had their brisket. It was not the kind of brisket I usually have when I eat brisket but it was tasty. I ended up getting more food than what I was ready for and I'm still stuffed.

I randomly watched a YouTube video awhile back by a young woman from the UK that was in Pakistan. She was showing western restaurants and stood in front of none other than a Hardee's in Islamabad, Pakistan. And to think Hardee's didn't even make this thread's survey ?
