We’re gonna torch at a 100 degrees with afternoon hailstorms and 9C mid level lapse rates with 7000 JKG of SBcape and 40 kts of 0-6km shear, along with giant HGZs with just 2500 jkg of cape in the -10 to -30 C layer alone

Something close/similar did happen back in June in Oklahoma, not far from what I just described, crazy how volatile the atmosphere can get over there, and if I’m not mistaken, on June 29th, some in South Dakota had 9000jkg of SBcape 9855FA1F-698E-4419-B6F0-81BC6DEA6253.jpeg
 
I was just looking at clinical for my area and found this from AKQ. Interesting to see.

It’s funny that he says the eastern part of NC with heavy rain when the NWS just gives my area a small chance of QPF. Must be south of the Albemarle Sound for heavy rain.
Just noticed you are in Elizabeth city thought you were in the triad for some reason. Not a bad spot to be in for a late blooming coastal
