See, what had happened was, the subtropical jet blew in air all the way from Antarctica and got us all cold-like, from down underneath.
On the bright side, if you toggle the Tropical tidbits toolbar really really fast for the GEFS 2m temperature anomalies, the warmup is quite brief

I'm there with you as well, though I'm not sure we ever flip. Repeat of last year incoming IMO. Different reasons for doing so I'm sure, but I think the trough hangs out west more often than not, and any cold push is muted by SE ridge or WAR. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah can't beat'em, join'em.... we suck, winter sucks, no snow is the way to go. Don't like the frozen crap that shuts everything down anyway, bring on the torch, save on heating bills.
