Let's just hope December isn't like 2015. That December we had lows in the 60s quite a lot. It was in the mid-70s on Christmas Day.

Can you imagine what the high temps would have been had we had the dry soil we currently have? We would have been well into the 80s

Yall is there a significant cool down anywhere in sight... even in fantasy land? If we stay hot much longer, we're going to end up getting a big cold front about mid October and go from highs in the upper 80's to highs in the 40's overnight.

there's been signs late next week at least over here but we'll see

I'm definitely not convinced yet
 
GFS back at it again with the strong cold push arriving next Friday afternoon, overnight lows Friday hit mid 40s in upstate, high 40s/low50s in GA/AL

Yeah we keep building out on the natural bell curve of temps, and every week it goes further from what we should be. Look at the GFS ant it does exactly what you're saying but over 2 days.

Something kinda cool here--the big cities are clearly hotter here on this frame of the GFS just after its "cold front" comes thru. ATL, Nashville, St. Louis, Memphis, Jackson, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, DFW, Houston, and Austin are all lighter green/yellow spots on the map. Interesting

Pretty crazy that NC as a whole has had some part of the state in one of the drought levels for the majority of the last 20 years

What is this model smoking!??? Thursday afternoon!??? Kendra, my favorite met, showed rpm model, had showers around Thursday afternoon, pumpkin spice bleeding latte, wait need bojangles!?☃️???????
