I found out today that October 17, 2019, has been proclaimed as Big Daddy Kane Day in Wake Forest, and that he lives here.

Gonna be honest, and I know this is pretty bad, but if we don't start seeing signs of hope for rain soon, I might start calling for a tropical system to landfall.

My hope will be that it's not a hurricane, but I don't like to see this and I'm not even a gardener on my own or anything, yet.
 
At this point give me anything. I'll take either severe weather or a TC to get rain and cloudy skies to cool things down and a pattern change please.
 
Ouch.... when no more precip then this is showing through the entire GFS run, that's no bueno

Drought has some positives like for road projects and construction companies. It’s not all bad just mostly bad.

To get widespread SE rain, we may have to wait until November (late fall/winter pattern). Or get a tropical storm (..not hurricane) to hit to our SW and then run NE through the area. I got lucky and received ~ 3/4" from Dorian, but that's been it. Others have had nothing...

Plain rain isn’t good enough! Now ground water tables are being affected. Had .36 the other day, first precip in like 18 days and temps at 90 or above the whole time, didn’t do a thing. Gonna take a widespread mod/ heavy rain to help, more than a frontal passage at this point

Tried getting a cheeseburger from McDonalds, ultimately went to Zaxby's cuz the lady was rude and McDonald's blocked me on Twitter! What a crappy National Cheeseburger Day! :mad::mad::mad:

I’m not a frequent flier on that side of town, but I’m telling ya, the Dawg House is worth the drive to S pleasantburg / Mauldin rd area! It’s right before S pleasantburg nursery, lunch only, weekdays only, lol

GSPs normal hugs are dropping almost a degree a day! Down to 82 now, mid 90s will be impressive
