It wouldn't, really. I've said that in the other thread. It may be easier for it to be cold here in January, but we have plenty of crappy patterns in the heart of winter.

I am in GA and enjoying this warm weather. Where else other than the SE can you have 60s in the middle of December ?!

It does. Pretty standard for Decembers around here now. Looks like KATL might get its first freeze of the month this week, we will have to wait and see. What a joke winter is now as a whole.

Yeah, dewpoint here is ~60, which is higher than the pleasant 40s of recent days. Tomorrow the high temp may get close to 80. But then our cold front hits and the walking wx is back to great Wed-Fri! I love this time of year!

whaaaamby. I guarantee that in a few weeks, when the cold -EPO returns, split flow dries up and all these classic Miller A tracks and soakers disappear. We just can't put everything together. Ugh.

That’s the night me and Mack were forecasted for 6”+ and ended up with a backend dusting. Areas to our south were forecasted for 6+ and didn’t see a damn flake. Drove to Travelers rest that next morning and had 7-8”..everyone discounted the NAM warm nose lol.. I sat under blue radar returns for 12 hours and watched it rain out my kitchen window
 
Also it was a bad setup for us. Late arriving cold air over the mountains. You could see the epic bust from 100 hours out
