Suppressiondepression
Just think, what if this was the one that was supposed to break the Columbia snow drought..ouchy woo wooWhat a storm track. Can't believe we have this terrible marginal air to work with a storm track like this here in SC. Not sure if even everything fell just right that we could get enough cold air down here. What a track though, I hope we get something like this in January.
Keep it suppressed. If it ticks NW at this point it will be 78 and rainy. Hard passSuppressiondepression
It wouldn't, really. I've said that in the other thread. It may be easier for it to be cold here in January, but we have plenty of crappy patterns in the heart of winter. Why would people think this would be any different on Jan 22nd? Serious question! With full latitude ridge from TX to Greenland where would the cold air come from? The pattern is just bad. No way to sugarcoat it.
A lot of turd polishing in the main thread! It’s not gonna snow in the Carolinas outside the mountains
I am in GA and enjoying this warm weather. Where else other than the SE can you have 60s in the middle of December ?!
It feels rather soupy here too.Expecting midle 70s + here. Already 73. Noting out of the ordinary for any winter here.

No sir it's not. We've waited the better part of a decade to get blocking during a winter month and now the Pac screws it up. Par for the course I guess!A lot of turd polishing in the main thread! It’s not gonna snow in the Carolinas outside the mountains
I didnt realize Atlanta had not already had a freeze. It does. Pretty standard for Decembers around here now. Looks like KATL might get its first freeze of the month this week, we will have to wait and see. What a joke winter is now as a whole.

Still though.... seems like the south side often has the coldest temps, especially Peachtree City and Newnan.Remember that station is on the south side.

That’s the night me and Mack were forecasted for 6”+ and ended up with a backend dusting. Areas to our south were forecasted for 6+ and didn’t see a damn flake. Drove to Travelers rest that next morning and had 7-8”..everyone discounted the NAM warm nose lol.. I sat under blue radar returns for 12 hours and watched it rain out my kitchen windowWhat did we get? Cause I know it wasn't big snow.
