Maybe time to get the generator cranked up and working.Ice storm, GA, SC.
Lol it's actually looking way wetter in the end. Tons more moisture back in AR.
So pushed back a day or so? Now Friday?Chris, Macon may be in the game on this one., colder, heavier.
More snowy in parts of NC. will have accumulation maps in a bit.
Dewpoints look very borderline in Atlanta. Maybe low 30s ?Look @ these dewpoints during the heavier precipitation, main deal:

looks like the EURO looks a bit like the CMC. That is a trend (toward that potential) todayChris, Macon may be in the game on this one., colder, heavier.
Maybe not with a 1030 mb high, but this one is over 1040 mb, so I believe a wider event is possible.I just don't see East AL/West GA (including parts of Metro Atlanta) getting in on this one.
Thats a bit alarming. As mike said above, that is concerning from the euro. It would likely be colder and that would put him and me in play for a nasty ice storm
Goodness like what you said after 0z run...qpf would only increase...
Very true!In the 2014 event, the EURO had me warmer than what is progged with this one. You know how that one turned out come game time.
Yes. but baby steps. I'd lean more to a sleet vs snow for our area though.Oh man Shawn, Im having major deja vu. Is there anyway we could get snow out of this or is sleet our only hope?
Are you blind! Jeebis CrustI just don't see East AL/West GA (including parts of Metro Atlanta) getting in on this one.
