Pattern December, Make analogs relevant again

GEFS mean should look okay for a potential storm. Seeing moisture back in TX by 186 spreading and cold temps on the mean!

Gefs also says don’t sleep on the christmas idea either

The current GFS runs are giving me the sense the last storm had for our area. Had a narrow band and wasn't showing much of a system like last time as well. However, we don't have the CMC showing a great storm, but with that high the CMC kept trying to resolve it probably screwed up any chance of showing such a system anyway. The Euro also has been too warm for anything, but there has been moisture a few times, but not on Christmas.

I think these other models (in their own due time) will come around to the idea of some Christmas mischief in the South like the 12z Gefs...Stay tuned

Guys, get ready, the GEFS is going to have a big hit on the mean.

Need I bring up the GFS model runs particular week leading up to the system on the 9th which had nothing at all similar to what ended up happening up to the day before it hit

I really think that image is a glitch. The next frame went back to normal, then the next frame went back to the glitch. I'll post the members here soon.

Looking at the P-Type GEFS maps there appear to be some active members going into last part of December into January.

Can't deny that we have some strong signals for storms between Christmas and the new year. Next week should be hopping.

We hug this map. Cling to it for dear life

While that map is a glitch, you can see some bigger storms on the GEFS member map, that shows the operational may be out to lunch at 500mb.

Can't think of a better D10 ensemble mean look. Throw precip back under the high pressure there will be many people happy on this board. There is multiple impressive members this run.

Good googly moogly look at e6!!!! I know it's just one member and it wouldn't verify like that in a million years but just imagine what this board would be like if that actually verified....lol

no matter what the gefs showed.... the king euro is fixng to say.... nope. not so fast my friend.... lee corso style... lol..
The king blows! If JBs going with GFS, I'm going with the GFS!

The entire North American continent is nearly frozen on the GEFS at day 10. There is a good deal of variability about where the storm in the south will be. The players are in the room, let's see if they will dance. It has been a long time since I've seen a map like that...Not sure if it's really possible.
