It's only a few weeks, Cold returns in Jan and stays.Sounds great. Doesn't mean we still can't score later in the winter. Some of our warmest winters featured our best snows.

Personally I hope the cold is more transient in Jan and Feb. I don't really care for non-stop cold. Btw what happened to the idea that this would be a backloaded winter ? Looks like with this storm coming up we are in for a front loaded winter just like last year !It's only a few weeks, Cold returns in Jan and stays.
Backloaded for sure, this is one shot and I think we will have 2-4 Jan- March.Personally I hope the cold is more transient in Jan and Feb. I don't really care for non-stop cold. I just cant see the south getting 1-2 feet of snow in Early December followed by 2-4 more major snows ! That would be a winter for the ages !Backloaded for sure, this is one shot and I think we will have 2-4 Jan- March.
It’ll be warm then. Like 90 degrees in December

I think he’s just trying to find something to back his forecastBut, but, but the polar vortex.... Then he quotes the CFS. Really?
Need that phase to happen about 500 miles to eastAnybody want to talk about this phase potential on the 15th/16th? I’m sick of tracking a puking rain storm View attachment 8139
