Been dropping about 0.2 every 20 or so minutes and am sitting at 7.5 right now. Low is 6 so that's pretty reasonable given how it'll likely level off.

That's the most impressive thing I have heard about this outbreak so far......hard to believe that the '85 outbreak wasn't lower. I think they had an actual air temp of -34F. Don't know how low the wind-chill was for that one.

Looks like at least 20,000 plus no power still Carolinas. Just checked. Coldest Christmas Eve on Record is 28 for high Gboro. Forecast tommorrow is 27.

Still no power here, been about 14 hours now. Would of bailed but Duke energys last update was it would be restored 4 hours ago. Tough call with christmas eve. Kids sleeping now though so I guess I'll see where I'm at in the am. Threw all the meat on the backporch so that will be good atleast.
