Congrats guys on who got a surprise small snow today. Ended up right with an inch of snow. All the roads around here is pure sheets of ice now. It make it worth it a little more when looking at that power bill next month.

Sleeting now. New SWS from NWS for my county says up to a 1/4 inch of sleet accumulation lol.

Its light but Based on How long it took for areas west of me, its definitely unexpected. Hopefully a good sign for the Upstate. Oddly temp is now UP to 34.3 ..got as low as 31.3 before the clouds rolled in.

There has to be a sneaky warm front along the I-20 corridor east of Atlanta which is driving the enhanced forcing/vertical motion. It also seems to be getting into the boundary layer which is what changed me to mostly sleet.
Radar actually looks good
