NAM already colder this run!

CAD signature looks a little more pronounced/stronger.

Winter storm watch now up for me. Not looking for a lot of snow here, but ice may be another story. If the CAD is strong enough I see no way to avoid getting a ton of freezing rain out of it. If it isn't that strong this will be a rain event for most of upstate SC. Instinct tells me to go with having enough CAD to get ice down here though. Most snow in SC will fall where it fell last Dec with the best of it in northern Greenville and Spartanburg counties.

850s don't start going below 0 for anywhere in upstate SC until hour 27. It doesn't look off.

But anyway, that looks like a fun, sleety mess in upstate SC early Sunday morning.

NAM gives me 11 inches of pure snow, of course it's lower due to low ratio and initial melting but way better run for many

Absolutely agree. 10 hours of pure snow and not flipping to sleet until 18z. Sign me up. Verbatim we accrue 10" of snow before losing the 850s
