There is a scientifically proven way to potentially put a stop to a pandemic.. not sure why any wouldn't go for it. What are your concerns?

well for me its the following: the vaccine is a new type of vaccine; its potential long term side effects are unknown; and the virus doesn't really concern me personally. I'm not necessarily opposed to receiving the vaccine, but I'm not all in at this moment either.

Not a fan of vaccines injected into my body, not a fan of anything injected if I can avoid it, never had a flu shot, also never had the flu....idk side effects potentially. I certainly don't like the idea of being forced to do so or withholding stimulus for those that don't, that's borderline bribery.

I agree with this. My parents have both said they will get it and I fully support that, they are after all a high risk group.

I’m not and I have leukemia. It was rushed into production in under a year when the normal timeframe is 3-5 years. Nope. Not taking it. They can kiss my bulbous hairy ass.

Sounds like they developed a interchangeable vaccine after ebola in 2014. This allowed fast work on the covid vaccine because most of the work was already done.

You probably had numerous vaccines injected into your body when you were a child. The side effects are minimal and rare. If you take this vaccine there will be millions who have ahead of you

Nah, weren't as many forced on us back then

Actually I fall in one of the first groups, group 1B I believe in NC, so not sure millions will be ahead of me or not when that time comes

Yeah, I don’t buy that one bit.

You go first. After they work out the side effects I MIGHT take it and I’m high risk.

Case in point. I have had JRA since I was 13. In 1999 I started taking Enbrel for RA. One of the side effects of usage was the possibility of developing lymphoma. Took years, but I developed it. F*ck medicines that aren’t tested properly.

There’s a cost to every medicine it seems.

Here's my question regarding the vaccine:

Put 10 people in a room, and 5 get the vaccine and 5 don't.

If the 5 who don't get the vaccine get sick, why do the people who got the vaccine care? You got the vaccine, so carry on with your business.

Well, the argument is that the vaccine’s efficacy isn’t 100%, and so the people who didn’t get it could still potentially give it to the people who did get it, and if enough people theoretically didn’t get the vaccine, herd immunity wouldn’t develop as quickly as it otherwise might.

But nevertheless I agree that it is wrong to force people to take this vaccine.
