Here are some of the key points of North Carolina's modified stay at home order:
▶The order starts Friday and goes to Jan. 8.(Great, there’s still a chance I can party all night on my birthday, January 11).
▶Stay home from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. ( Not a problem. I’m usually in bed by 10, except my birthday)
▶That means businesses must close by 10 p.m (see above)
▶Alcohol consumption ends at 9 pm (no comment j/k).

What's the point of a curfew?
 
Screw Cooper, god I hate when we bow down to the scared. Fear of death is really controlling a lot of this and dont tell me oh you would think differently if it was you or a loved one dying. No, no I wont quite frankly because If im meant to die at that moment I will be it of COVID or something else, death is never pleasant be it COVID or something else. End of the day its not the biggest restriction, still it will hurt businesses even more. Some states are going to be begging for lots of federal money ( States with Dem govs) while others will be doing better ( states with rep governors) soon enough.
 
So, I’m trying to figure out the curfew. Is it just an order for businesses to close at 10pm, or is it a true restriction on citizens’ freedom of movement after 10 pm? They are both bad, but the latter would really piss me off. I think curfews are Unamerican.
 
Amazing how many people buy into government holding their hand and walking them along every step of life. People who voted this clown back into office must be feeling much better by the day.

You reap what you sow. If people would just wear masks while out in public no lockdown would be needed. But no, you want your precious freedom not to wear them and now you will have even less of it. Glad the Governor had the guts to take this action.

What action did he take, gave you a 10 pm curfew like we're teenagers? And for your information I wear a mask when I'm around others, I think it's stupid and I don't think the Government should mandate it, but I wear it. What you want is a government that controls every aspect of our life, yeah I enjoy freedom and it comes with risk. Lol you reap what you sow, put socialist in office and they try to control you.... enjoy it, it's what you voted for.

No reason to protest. He is trying to do the right thing to protect the people of NC. He ought to go even farther and close down a LOT more stuff and make it a 1 year jail term and $50000 for anyone caught violating the order.
