Not sure, maybe it was just inevitable, especially when neighboring countries like Chile and Brazil have seen so much spread. I think some of it was just because after their initial hard lockdown, they had to start opening up over time and then cases spiked.Is that because it is winter there?
Deaths are still relatively low in Argentina (94 deaths per million compared to the USA’s 492, Brazil’s 464, Peru’s 619, etc.), but they’re on the wrong track.
