Well, I've been sick for a week and finally got my corona test back: negative. I was sure I had it, a milder version of it anyway.

Terrible stuff here, if something does not change soon this will be happening in dozens of small local hospitals all across the country.....especially in the south.

"The situation is desperate. We cannot continue functioning in the Starr County Memorial Hospital in the way things are going."
"The reality is that science and statistics are against those people with multiple medical conditions," he said. "We have to start making a triage evaluation and realizing who has a better chance. For all of those patients who most certainly do not have any hope of improving, we believe that they are going to be better taken care of within their own family in the love of their own home, rather than thousands of miles away dying alone in a hospital room."

My brother took four tests before the last one confirmed a Covid-19 infection. Who knows?

There is a 20-30% false negative rate, they also say that taking as test within I think it was 4 days of developing symptoms had a higher false negative rate.

That's BS. If the tests are picking up coronavirus from a throat swab test, then the virus has not stopped shedding in the upper respiratory tract. Shedding in the upper respiratory tract can occur for up to 3 months following recovery. Your doctor doesn't have any evidence to support the conclusion that your step-mom is no longer contagious.

I can't believe I have to tell this to you, but keep the COVID memes in the covid meme thread and actual information and discussion in this thread.
Not sure if you're trolling, being dead serious, or are trying to hint and some weird conspiracy, but I can't see how you would ask this when it's common sense the numbers being reported are covid deaths.
