So much for the “deaths keep trending down” argument

Kinda glad I never got this virus or was asymptomatic when I was taking care of my parents/caught my grandpa mid fall from his covid related stroke, not sayin I’m not worried Becuase it’s very possible to get it twice, but I at least know it probably wouldn’t be very severe, I would say this, the process/quarantine and time after is extremely stressful
You catch everything, except fish! I’d be very worried if I was you!

This may be the wrong thread, but it’s related to Coronavirus. Are we getting a 2nd stimulus check ? I havnt heard about that much lately!?

Who is saying deaths keep trending down? I probably missed it, but that ought to be pretty easy to prove one way or the other.

Supposedly in the next few weeks they will start working on something

Trump has signaled support but beyond that we don't know yet what it will be

Yeah, you definitely missed/forgot about it. Let me jog your memory because it is pretty easy to prove this was in fact said.

Not true. Deaths are still trending down. Look at Europe .

Not sure if true or not, but saw an article that the coronavirus is close to losing its epidemic status in a few weeks if deaths continue to go down.

The wuhan Corono Virus is losing its punch. Good news and as time rolls on, it will be rolling out of our way, lives. Good riddance!

Also correct me if I'm wrong but you (& many others) liked the last post above here and arguably agreed with this very sentiment a few weeks ago. If you didn't then I'd like to see what yours and others thought processes were when it was pretty obvious even then that deaths lagged hospitalizations.

Of course, a few weeks ago I said on this very forum in response to this seemingly popular post from @NCSNOW that deaths lag case count increases and here we are with increasing deaths. Said reality certainly ruffled some feathers, but I'm not here to make everyone feel good about themselves, the reality here has been and will continue to be pretty harsh.

Death rates lag case counts, it’s way too early to say that

I liked it because I was hopeful at the time that the death rate was dropping. But the numbers are the numbers. You can't say deaths are declining if the numbers are rising. That's what I was saying in my earlier post.
