Being one of the only Charlestonians it seems like people would rather have 1/2” or 1” in CLT and RDU than anything in the further south areas.

I would very much satisfied about about what NAM showed here. Basically 2-4 inches of powdery snow.Maybe there's a chance we make a run towards 6-8 inches, but maybe I'm being greedy by this point

Rowan county did not do any road treatment. Well I seen any when I was as out today but let’s see how this goes.

You bring up a legitimate concern with something like 95% of these storms.
This is not one of those times.

i went to the store today to get eggs, even checked that none were cracked. fell out of my grocery cart otw to the car. every one except one broke.

Hopefully not, but I never say never when it comes to NW trends and getting hosed when the storm is still 24 hours away.
If this actually holds, definitely, especially with Apple Weather still saying 0% chance of any precipitation tomorrow as everyone goes to bed. I saw lots of parents complaining on Facebook that the schools were closing for no reason. (Of course, if it doesn’t, they will all think they were correct)
