Love My Radar app. Been using it for years. The precip ground truth is second to none IMO.
Obviously I hope so! That would be one less potentially huge headache to have to deal with. I consider a strong El Niño a blessing in that sense.
However, more than likely per history there will be 1-2 MH, but hopefully nowhere near here! Usually with a strong El Niño, the steering is more favorable than average to avoid direct big hits to the SE US coast due among other things to a weak mean Bermuda High, although the US Gulf coast is less protected than the SE coast. Also, Outer Banks to NE US sometimes not as well protected.

Parts of Houston metro received significantly more rainfall from Bertha than models had with up to ~5” vs mist progs of ~0.75”. Here’s the final advisory:

Surface observations over eastern Texas indicate that Bertha no
longer has a well-defined circulation, and has opened up into a
trough. Therefore, the system has dissipated, and this will be the
last advisory.
Bertha's remnants will likely continue to produce some locally heavy
rainfall over portions of eastern and southern Texas, where isolated
flash flooding is possible overnight.
