Probably hot and dry
Thank @Rain ColdWhat a thread title.
And the loss of daylight acceleratesThats a stupid title. July is far worse than August. At least in August we finally get some hints of fall.
The title conveys a brash and unapologetic message. It dares the reader to disagree.Probably hot and dry
He is right. There is no better example of time being relative than the 487 days it takes to get through August
I'm surprised you have March ranked higher than October. I enjoy October a lot more than March.July is hands down worse than August for me. Recently we average way more 90 degree days ( by a lot)in July v/s August. Not to mention Football at least gets underway in August and the end of summer is in sight. I have July as the least favorable month on the calendar, August ranked 11th and June 10th May at # 9, sept # 8 April 7, Oct 6th, March 5th , Feb 4th, Nov 3, Jan 2, Dec 1.
I'm going with less than three 90 degree days this August for GSO.
Will be nice if we can start AUG with a trof in the east

It was a toss up. Start planting late March and early March ive expierenced a few good licks of winter wx. Plus usually get a svre threat or two to boot.I'm surprised you have March ranked higher than October. I enjoy October a lot more than March.
By Christmas, you'll be begging for 80!At this point I just hope it's not 80 degrees at Christmas again... View attachment 197010
But there's football on TV in August !Confirming thread title. Corroborative evidence includes but is not limited to:
- Hot as hot gets in the summer. Swamp draws.
- Heat/warmth starts getting old after 6 months of it (looking at you March)
- No good sports to watch or discuss on tv. Not a fan of watching baseball, sorry (fun to play though).
- Playing golf sucks when it's so hot.
- Kids go back to school. Obvious for them, parents often have to get up earlier to get them to school.
- School supply shopping
- Tech registration and pick up.
- Traffic increases with school starting back up
Hurricanes (not so much lately).
I'm a little less pessimistic on August for reason's people have said. The lakes are warm and enjoyable, football is on the calendar, kids to back to school and are out of the way for the most part, and I plan on going to Chile to enjoy their snow starting next August. In my honest opinion, April is the worst. Pollen, first month there is no chance for snow, dry season, can't swim in the lakes yet, need I go on?important to intersperse august with trips, getaways, things that break up the month and give you something to look forward to, because otherwise i agree it is a bad month
Another thing I hate about April (or May) is that you have the entire miserable summer in front of you. At least in August much of the misery is behind you.I'm a little less pessimistic on August for reason's people have said. I'm so desperate I start watching Canadian Football in early July.Preseason NFL don't count IMO. I guess the very end of the month college football starts, but overall just a tough month. September is pretty great though. Maybe that's a plus for August, it leads to September. lol.
