Pattern August 2023 Thread

Had a heavy shower off the Seabreeze a few minutes ago. Crashed my temp by almost 10 degrees but it's on the steady climb back up already. It's back up to 91 and post rain mugginess is horrible

It just rained for the 8th time in 9 days but didn't do much to knock the temp back. That said, I have a legit shot at some upper 50s this week.

Anyone know if this is correct for Scottsboro? 149? ?

I don't think that's possible but maybe that station was right on the edge of some precip that skyrocketed the humidity but didn't cool it much? Can't be correct...

Has to be a glitch. 93 is two degrees short of the worldwide record for highest DP, set on the Saudi coast 20 years ago.

Missed every drop of rain somehow IMBY. Grass is brown and crunchy, crops are looking rough with corn brown and twisted already and beans/cotton browning quickly. Noticed some trees around starting to get stressed and dropping leaves already.

Desperately need some rain.
