Looking at the 5th-7th for the next severe threat. This one might be running into a much warmer air mass but moisture return might be a limiting factor. More subtle forcing though may give us a much more cellular vs linear threat

As a result, patchy frost/freeze products may be needed for portions
of central NC with the growing season in full swing.

Dumb to define the growing season by the calendar. I'll go out and talk to the bermuda tomorrow night and let it know it's supposed to start growing at 1201

I've gotten to where I just wait to plant my garden until late April no matter what. Sure it my delay the harvest but it won't diminish the yield and I've been burned too many times. I've had a handful of May frosts lately but nothing fatal. April can be killer though.
